The Scottish gas and central heating specialist, Saltire Facilities Management, continues to celebrate on-going success as it announces another public sector contract award, a four-year gas maintenance servicing contract for Glasgow social housing provider, Queens Cross Housing Association.
Under the contract Saltire will maintain gas central heating systems across the housing associations estate, which spans nearly 2,800 homes in an area that stretches north from Glasgow city centre, along either side of the Forth and Clyde Canal. Work under the contract, which was awarded following a competitive tender process will commence at the beginning of April and is worth approximately £800,000.
Saltire Facilities Management, which operates out of a head office in Bellshill, Glasgow, is a leading partner to the social housing market currently contracted to deliver a range of services to dozens of housing associations and local authorities, serving over 60,000 homes annually.
Operations Manager David Grabiec commented; “It is great to have secured another gas maintenance contract in the Glasgow region, where our team have built a strong reputation in the industry. Full credit for winning this contract goes to our maintenance engineers who are committed to ensuring that all jobs are delivered successfully.
Saltire Managing Director, Alan Murray added; “For a business like ours, which has been delivering gas maintenance services on behalf of social housing providers for over two decades, contracts like this are our bread and butter. I am proud of our team for securing another new contract and I am confident they will continue to work hard to exceed the expectations of Queens Cross Housing Association and their tenants.”
