Smoke Alarm Installation
From 1st February 2022, every home in Scotland must have interlinked home fire alarms
The Scottish Government recently introduced new legislation which means that every home must now be protected by interlinked fire alarms. Whether you’re a landlord or a homeowner, you should take action now, as it is the property owner’s responsibility to meet the new standards.
What each home needs:
- one smoke alarm in the living room or the room you use most
- one smoke alarm in every hallway and landing
- one heat alarm in the kitchen

Electrical Testing
Whether you’re a landlord or owner of a commercial premises, it’s vital that you make sure everyone who lives or works there is safe. An EICR must always be carried out by qualified and registered electricians to ensure the validity of the report.
