Electric vehicle charge point installation schemes
Electric vehicle charge point installation schemes are a great incentive to make the switch to an electric vehicle. Saltire are authorised and experienced installers of electric vehicle home and workplace charge points.
It’s great when we all pull together to create a greener world. Electric vehicles are one of the key changes people and organisations can make to play their part. Not only is it better for the environment, it’s better for your pocket too. Electric vehicles can be far cheaper to run, especially if you charge your vehicle overnight.
Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme makes it more affordable to have your home charging point installed by a trusted, authorised, and experienced company such as Saltire.
Because we are authorised installers, we can reduce your charge point installation price by £350. When we install one of our partnered charge points (and meet certain requirements) we can claim £350 back from the install on your behalf. When you complete our Pre-Survey Form we’ll check you’re eligible for the grant before we start any work.
When we install your home charging point the £350 grant will be deducted from your final bill. Now is a great time to switch to an electric vehicle, and start saving money from day one.
Energy Saving Trust Funding
As well as the £350 reduction offered through the EVHS, the Energy Saving Trust are also offering £300 (or £400 in remote locations) in further funding. That means you can save at least £650 on your installation!
With the current levels of funding available, there really has been no better time to make the switch to an electric vehicle, and we’re ready to install your charging point.

Workplace Charge Scheme
We are authorised installers under the Workplace Charge Scheme, which is a voucher-based scheme available for work places. The scheme is designed to provide eligible companies with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge points.
The contribution is limited to 75% of purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £350 for each socket and a maximum of 40 across all sites.
