About Viewpoint Housing Association
Viewpoint Housing Association was founded in the post-war era to provide housing for homeless woman, and has evolved over the decades to offer a wide variety of housing schemes to meet the needs of a wide range of people. It now offers everything from sheltered housing to 24-hour care, and has also introduced amenity and general needs housing for people below retirement age.
Saltire’s tenant-centred approach makes it a natural partner for many housing associations and social landlords across the country. Saltire currently delivers services including gas servicing and repairs, smoke alarm upgrades, 24-hour call centre support, void repairs, EICRs, plumbing, electrical, and plastering works for more than 120,000 domestic and commercial properties on behalf of approximately 30 housing associations and social landlords, as well as more than 7000 private landlords across Scotland and north-west England.
