Air source heat pumps: heating for cleaner, greener buildings
Air source heat pumps are the cleaner, greener alternative to traditional domestic and commercial heating
Thousands of homes across the country have already made the switch from oil or gas to an air source heat pump, and are enjoying lower fuel bills and warmer homes as a result. The time to make the switch is now, while government grants are still available for homeowners.
Through the government’s Renewable Heating Incentive (RHI) scheme, you will receive quarterly incentive payments for seven years after installation. The average three-bed home can expect to see payments of around £11,000 over that period. RHI schemes are available for domestic customers, private companies, public sector bodies and non-profit organisations.
How does an air source heat pump work?
The Vaillant air source heat pump has been heating domestic and commercial buildings throughout the UK for over a decade. As accredited Vaillant installers, we’re proud to offer a sustainable and cost-efficient heating solution.
The pump sits outside your home, in your garden or mounted to a structurally secure wall. Designed to be both compact and quiet, the pump absorbs heat from the outside air (even when the temperature is as low as -25°C) and converts it to usable heat in your home, covering your heating and hot water needs. You can operate it through a control panel, remote control, or an app.
Install an air source heat pump to:
– enjoy a warm home that literally pays for itself
– drastically reduce your carbon footprint
– play your part in creating a sustainable world
